Our mission is to give quality time back to our customers by taking care of their to-do list, like it was our own.

At Houston & Ko we don’t slow down ourselves or our clients with heavy-handed processes or hard to read policies. Instead, we have five simple house rules. These rules are a working list of shared values and behaviors created when we first opened our doors. We aim to stay true to the culture and standards that we started by using these house rules as our anchor as we expand.

We love spending time outdoors and often speculate about how we could enjoy more of it if we just had a little extra time. With two demanding corporate jobs the chance of finding more time didn't seem likely or possible. 

We both agreed that the support of an assistant who could take some of the routine, administrative and time-consuming to-do's off our plate would be as close as we could get to finding more than our allocated 24 hours in the day.

But neither of us were so busy that we needed full-time support. Maybe we could split their time between us? Were would we put their desk? Half way between our two offices?

 

The reality was we didn't need full-time support and we didn't even need someone to be physically present. 

What we needed was a flexible, virtual but still high quality solution to give us a little more time to do what we love.

 

In that moment Houston & Ko was conceived.
